Calbond Aluminum Reducing Couplings are used to join conduit and fittings of different sizes. They are provided with different size sleeves to match the fittings thread sizes.
Features
- Exterior PVC coating thickness is a minimum 0.040″
- Interior urethane coating thickness is a minimum 0.002″
- Steel: Sizes available are 3/4″ to 1/2″ to 3″
- Aluminum: Sizes available are 1/2″ to 3″
- The length of the sleeve extension(s) shall be at least equivalent to the nominal conduit size for sizes 1/2″- 2″. For sizes 2-1/2″- 2-1/2″ to 3″, the length of the sleeve extension(s) shall be at least 2″
- Sealing sleeves extender 1 pipe diameter or 2 inches, whichever is greater, beyond all female openings
